Learn Filipino to speak with Filipino Tera Online players

Many mmorpg's have players that come from the Philippines and many of these players might know very little English or no English at all. Knowing basic phrases can help you determine whether they are Filipino and whether they know how to do a dungeon or not. While I have not met many people from the Philippines in Tera Online I'm sure as the game continues to develop a larger population more Filipino speaking players will start to join.

  1. Hi. I'm Filipino and I appreciate that you posted this guide. Actually most of us know how to speak at least basic English since it's our second language.

Anyway, I'm guessing the translations were made using Google Translate or some other translation software, as some of them are incorrect or are not used commonly. Here are some examples and their correct/more common translations:

You have this item - mayroon/meron ka nito
Stay out of the red circle - lumabas sa pulang bilog
Revive and run again - mabuhay at tumakbo ulit
Taunt the monster - i-taunt ang halimaw
You know the dungeon - alam mo ang kulungan/dungeon
    Heal me - pa-heal ako
Dispel boss - i-dispel and boss

Yes, commonly Filipinos mix English and Filipino words especially with technical terms where there are no exact translations.
